The Navigators have been performing for audiences around the north shore for the past two decades. The band initially performed as the Jazz Navigators with a repertoire mainly taken from the real book. This past decade, since acquiring two accomplished singers, the band has developed a more eclectic repertoire of deeper cuts of rock, pop, and country tunes that feature female harmonies.

Band members have a variety of professional music experience coming out of classical, jazz, a cappella, and country backgrounds and several members play in additional bands and orchestras.
