The Swampscott By the Sea Summer Concert Series is an annual summer tradition, hosted by the Town of Swampscott, bringing together people of all ages to listen to great music and build community on Swampscott's beautiful Town Hall Lawn.

 

This year's line-up of seven concerts features talented local and regional artists in diverse musical genres including classic rock, jazz, blues and country, cajun and zydeco.

The summer series is organized by an all volunteer committee under the direction of the Department of Recreation. All concerts are free, thanks to our generous sponsors, and will appeal to people of all ages.

Bands interested in performing please reach out to us through our Facebook page. Remember that our organizers are all volunteers and it may take awhile to respond. Please note that we aim to present a very diverse line-up each year with a broad variety of genres, and to include both local and regional bands.  We seek accomplished acts with performing experience and preferably with their own web and social media presence.  We highly encourage new bands to sign up and play at Swampscott PorchFest (see above).

 

Bring your blankets, chairs and a picnic dinner and join your friends and neighbors for great music in a beautiful setting!
